Former Inspector General of Police, Sunday Adewusi, has died. He died
yesterday night at the National Hospital, Abuja after a brief illness.
Nigeria Force Public Relations Officer, Bisi Kolawole, confirmed his
death. The deceased was IGP from 1981 to 1983 - the youngest officer to
head the country’s police force. May his soul rest in peace, amen.
