Storm and Heavy Downpour Destroys Property in Osogbo, Osun State.

Storm and heavy downpour destroyed property in some parts of Osogbo, the Osun state capital, this weekend. 

 Buildings, shops and electrical installations were destroyed as a result of the storm.

 Areas affected mostly by the incident included Oja Oba, Igbona, Ago Wande, Ibokun road, among others.

Roofs of many buildings were blown away by the winds, just as electric poles were pulled by the impact of the development.

In many parts of Osogbo, the rain, which commenced late Saturday evening, was mild and lasted for 10 minutes, while in other neighbourhoods; it was heavy, coupled with thunderstorms
