101 Year Old Man Rescued a Week After Earthquake in Nepal

A 101 year old man was, on Saturday, rescued from the ruins of the wake of the earthquake that rocked Nepal.

In what could be dubbed a "miracle", the man said he could not explain how he survived for 8 eight days.

He is in hospital and in a very stable condition.

Funchu Tamang was rescued on Saturday from the rubble of his house with only minor injuries to his ankle and hand. According to the police, they do not know how he survived.
"He was brought to the district hospital in a helicopter. His condition is stable," local police officer Arun Kumar Singh told AFP.
