You Will Fail Like Jonathan if..: Gani Adams Warned President Buhari

Foremost leader of Oodua People’s Congress’, Otunba Gani Adams has warned President Muhammadu Buhari to be weary of bad advisers if he does not want to suffer the same fate as the immediate past President Goodluck Jonathan.

He said Jonathan the reason for former President’s failure was because he was surrounded and listened to misleading advice by bad heads who usually pose as loyalists.


Adams said that President Buhari must not allow himself to be manipulated by power-drunk politicians. Noting that Nigerians are longing for true change and it must start from the caliber of people that makes up his cabinet.

 He stated that Nigerians expect so much from him and he must prove to them the confidence they have in him, failing which might leads to his destruction.

The OPC boss highlighted unstable policy, epileptic power outage, corruption, improper planning, and high cost of governance as areas where the President needs to pay attention to as a matter of urgency.


“The former President Jonathan was surrounded by bad advisers who made him lose credibility. Buhari must not appoint ministers that he wouldn’t be able to control. The people in his cabinet should be accountable,” he said.
