SHOW OF SHAME: What SSS And NSCDC Officials Did In Public

Officials of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and of the State Security Services (SSS) decided to embarrass themselves publicly.

The security agents threw caution to the wind and exchanged heavy blows in front of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, opposite the Eagle Square, Central Business District, Abuja.

According to a Leadership report, trouble started when an SSS official drove to a halt and parked his car. An NSCDC official blamed him for violating traffic regulations and a heated argument ensued between the two security operatives.

The NSCDC official was said to have called the SSS agent a fool. “You are a fool. You are an idiot. People more than you have obeyed the rule; so, who are you?” he queried.

In anger, the SSS official slapped and punched him.

In retaliation, the NSCDC official threw his own punch, causing him the SSS man to stagger and fall.
But for the quick intervention of bystanders, the situation would have escalated as other NSCDC officials at the scene were angry over the fate of their colleague.

You have no shame. You are an SSS official fighting a fellow security officer”, one of the NSCDC personnel said.
