Head of Ife kingmakers dies at 83

According to reports, the Obalufe of Ife, Oba Solomon Folorunsho Omisakin, is dead.

Omisakin is said to have died early on Thursday, October 15, 2015, while receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness in a London hospital, Daily Independent reports.

Sources say that Omisakin’s death will further stall the selection of a new Ooni due to his position as the head of Ife’s kingmakers.
