Nigeria beat Cameroon 3-0 in an international friendly game, played at the Edmond Machtens-Stadion in Belgium on Sunday.
Efe Ambrose, Moses Simon and Odion Ighalo scored for the Super Eagles, as they returned to winning ways, following a 2-0 loss to DR Congo on Wednesday.
Cameroon, who paraded players like Stephane Mbia, Benjamin Moukandjo, Sebastien Bassong and Vincent Aboubacar, struggled to cope with the pace and intensity of their West African rivals.
Ambrose headed in Mikel Obi’s free-kick in the 39th minute, to give Nigeria the lead in the first half. Cameroon’s hopes of getting back into the game vanished, after Mbia was shown a red card in the 47th minute.
The Eagles took advantage of their numerical advantage, to score two more goals through Simon and Ighalo.
Sunday Oliseh will now start preparation for their 2018 FIFA World Cup second round qualifiers, against Djibouti or Swaziland.
