Iheanacho, Bellerin, Martial nominated for European Golden Boy Award

Super Eagles players, Kelechi Iheanacho and Moses Simon, have been nominated for the 2015 Golden Boy Award.

Some of the other nominees for the prize which rewards promising young players are Liverpool youngster Jordon Ibe, Tottenham’s Dele Alli, Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin and Manchester United’s duo of Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw.

All nominees are usually under 21 years and must be playing in the top tier of a European league.

40 players have been nominated for this year’s award.

Lionel Messi, Wayne Rooney, Mario Gotze and Paul Pogba have won it in the past and Raheem Sterling is the current holder.
