Man, 42,
identified as Ayo Boye has committed suicide in Akure, Ondo State after he
traveled from Abuja to the state to attend a church service. His body was found
dangling from a tree behind a block firm in the Adofure area of Akure, on
Wednesday.
The owner of the block firm, who identified himself simply as Olanrewaju, explained that his workers called him on the telephone on Wednesday to inform him about the incident, stating that on getting to his office, he also saw the lifeless body. They reported the incident at a police station.
The founder of the popular prayer centre, Pastor Samson Oluwamodede, where the deceased came to for church service claimed ignorance of the incident, saying that many people worship in his church and that he can't recognise everybody.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Femi Joseph confirmed the incident.
