Dino Melaye arrives Kogi state in ambulance, to be arraigned in court today

Embattled senator Dino Melaye representing Kogi West senatorial district has finally been taken to Lokoja, the state capital by the Nigeria Police and will be arraigned in court today for alleged illegal pocession of fire arms.

According to reports, Dino was ferried to the state in an ambualance by the police. Recall he was re-arrested at the premises of the magistrate court in Abuja shortly after he was granted bail in the sum of N90 million for an attempt to commit suicide and escape from lawful custody.

Two suspected assasins arrested in February allegedly confessed to have been sponsored by Melaye. The assassins alleged that Melaye gave them funds for their operation and also provided them with arms.
