2019 ELECTION: Festus Keyamo Caught Stealing Photos To Campaign For Buhari

Spokesperson of the Buhari Campaign Organization, Festus Keyamo has been called out for allegedly stealing photos from the middle east to campaign for his principal Buhari.

Read tweet below:

It reads,''This is how trees grew in-between rail tracks between 1999 and 2015. Those were the years of 'Initiation and Started', when they swallowed all the money but never completed. Now this is the 'Completion Era' as the tracks are beginning to roar back to life.''

However a US based Nigerian Professor, Farooq Kperogi who reacted to the claim wrote that Buhari's media aides were in the habit of stealing photos from the Net and passing them off as Buhari's work.

See his tweet below:

However Festus Keyamo who backtracked on the tweet, wrote;

It reads,''For those who're struggling with the English language or who are deliberately mischievous, my reference to the image below was nothing but an ILLUSTRATION of my point. Hence my carefully worded tweet 'this is how trees..', I never referred to it as a tree at a particular site.''

This is coming on the heels of another of Buhari's aides caught in the very same act.

Lauretta Onochie who is President Muhammadu Buhari's social media aide was caught peddling fake news to launder the image of her principal via Twitter.

This ostensibly indicates the progress of the alleged road project within the Nasarawa-Jos axis.

Checks revealed that the news is false. The picture originally belongs to istockphoto.com and was uploaded for sale at the cost of $12.
