Seun Kuti believes his music is world class, that's why he has submitted his latest album "Black Times" to the Grammys for a nomination consideration.
On Saturday, October 27, 2018, he posted the album cover of his album with the words "FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION! 61ST GRAMMY AWARDS. BEST WORLD MUSIC ALBUM."
Seun Kuti went on to write "All my Grammy voting friends. Y’all know the vibes #getthesax" as the caption of his Instagram post.
If picked, his album will be nominated in the Best World Album category.
His brother Femi Kuti, has been nominated for this category more than twice but has never won.
Maybe Seun will have better luck this time around.
