Father 47, and Daughter, 14, officially, have the World's Widest Tongue - Guinness World Records.

According to Guinness World Records, Byron and Emily Schlenker from Syracuse, New York hold Guinness World Record for the widest tongues.

Byron Schlenker, 47, and his daughter Emily, 14, together hold the Guinness World Records.

Mr Schlenker's tongue measures 8.6cm across - the same width as a beer mat and 2cm wider than an iPhone 6 - and his daughter's tongue measures 7.3cm.

Mr Schlenker only discovered the facts about his tongue after reading a Guinness Book of World Records entry.

Schlenker beat the former record of 7.9cm.
