I’ll Rather Resign From Politics Than Defect – Gov Aliyu, Niger State, Nigeria.

The Governor of Niger State, Dr. Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu, while was receiving guests at his office yesterday in Minna, has described politicians defecting from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressive Congress (APC) as people who are suffering from poverty of integrity, morality and principle.

Aliyu urged the electorate not be deterred by defections from PDP adding that those who should worry are members of the APC who will soon have problems of political profiteers in their hands.

I rather resign from politics instead of defecting from PDP.

Those defecting from PDP based on the outcome of the Presidential and National Assembly election lack principles of integrity and morality, they are indeed stomach politicians.”
