“So there you have it Nigeria. This is the Change you voted for. Change from making promises to breaking promises.”

Speaking via social media group, Nairaland Forum, Nigerians warned President-elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, (over his comments that Nigerians should not expect miracles from him) not to dare the masses who voted with hope for change and go ahead to fulfill his campaign promises.

Illiad (male) said: “What awaits you is much more than Jonathan saw. Why will we not expect miracles when you promised us more miracles than even prophets had wrought? Such miracles as: 1Naira =1dollar; You will regulate international oil price; wipeout Boko Haram, and feed students twice daily. You must wipe out corruption and employ every youth.

“Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. Work your talks or face more insults than Jonathan received. They (APC) were busy making unrealistic plans without adequately streamlining the Viability and Possibility of implementing them. No roadmap on where the funds will come from or how they (APC) intends to generate finances needed to fulfill these bogus projects.

“So there you have it Nigeria. This is the Change you voted for. Change from making promises to breaking promises.”

A lady, chymystique also lent her voice by saying: “That’s how it starts! Soon they will tell us four years is not enough to achieve ‘his Blueprint.’“I’ve not forgotten the promises, especially the one Buhari made in my state which is not attainable in this Century. I’m patiently waiting for N1=$1 and the 24hours electricity. #NigeriansAreWatching”

Similarly, Major466 said that four years was enough for the General to fulfill his promises or face the wrath of Nigerians.
“Four years is enough to do what they promised. They will face the wrath of Nigerians if they don’t fulfill their promises. Nigerians on their part have to support the incoming government. They have to be ready to internalise this change. Be the change you want to see.”

Sweetguy25 said: “Their lies and scam tactics have begun. Buhari shouldn’t have picked this job at this age. He should have just retired and watched Nigerian politics from his living room.

“Nigerians are naturally very impatient people and if by this time in 2017, there are no major improvements in their standard of living or in infrastructure, they will start to bitterly complain and grumble of bad governance and corruption.

“That was how they treated President Umaru Yar’Adua till the man died of pressure. Two years into Yar’Adua’s tenure, they began to call him baba go-slow. The same thing happened to Jonathan; only Obasanjo was spared in his first tenure. Buhari won’t be spared.

“Buhari has no other options or choices but to perform miracles and magic. That was why Nigerians voted him in. They want the magic wand and miracles that Buhari and his party promised to be delivered in three years.

“If Nigerians begin to miss GEJ in three years, Buhari, you are as good as gone!”

Sammynash11 added: You must perform miracles oo. Nothing short of that! We still remember all your promises and will hold you accountable to them,” he said.
