Bauchi Recovers 51 Vehicles From Past Goverment Officials

The Bauchi state government committee set up to recover the state’s looted property from the immediate past government officials, on Wednesday said it has recovered 51 vehicles so far from political appointees.


The recovered properties on Wednesday include eight vehicles, five of which were Toyota Camry and two Range Rover Sport vehicles from some former commissioners in the state.
The chairman of the committee, Ahmed Baba, while briefing newsmen, restated the commitment of the committee to recover all state’s properties in the hands of officials of the immediate past government of the state.

Mr. Ahmed Baba then called on all individuals concerned to hasten the return of all properties belonging to the state in their custody, as the committee will stop at nothing to retrieve all looted government’s property in their hands.

He continued by saying that the committee was not out to witch-hunt anyone but to ensure that all properties of the state government which was taken without due process is returned.
The committee chairman restated his commitment and readiness to the people of the state to ensure that no stone is leave untouched until all looted properties were recovered.
