President Muhammadu Buhari has debunked reports
that he has chosen a Chief of Staff.
Media reports on Monday, June 29, 2015, had it
that Buhari had appointed former Military Administrator of Kaduna State, Hamid Ali,
to occupy the position.
Meanwhile, presidential spokesman on media aide, Femi Adesina,
has said that there’s no truth to the reports.
“No appointment yet,” Mr Femi Adesina
said while speaking to Premium Times on the rumoured appointment.
The rumor which spread over the country in the
early hours of today had has many Nigerians reacted to the news of Hamid Ali’s
appointment with surprise as former Lagos State Governor; Babatunde Fashola
had been pegged to occupy the position.
