Nigeria’s U-23 team will face Burkina Faso in the last four of the
men’s football event at the ongoing All Africa Games in Brazzaville,
Congo.
This was decided on Monday, after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) drew lots to determine the runners-up in Group A, after Burkina Faso and Sudan finished with the same points.
Both teams had equal goals scored, conceded and goals difference.
Hosts Congo will play Senegal in the other semi-final on Tuesday.
The Super Falcons will take on Cameroon in their own semi-final clash. Once again, CAF had to draw lots to determine who finished top of Group B, with the Indomitable Lionesses emerging the lucky team, from a group that also had Ghana and South Africa
