Code of Conduct Tribunal adjourns for ruling on Saraki’s failure to appear before it

The Code of Conduct Tribunal has adjourned for one hour to resume with a ruling on the propriety of Senate President Bukola Saraki failing to appear before it despite the warrant of arrest on him authorized by the Chairman of the Tribunal, Justice Danladi Umar, who directed the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, to effect the arrest of Saraki and produce him before the Tribunal on Monday.

Meanwhile, the Justice Danladi Umar-led CCT has returned from its one-hour adjournment with a ruling that ordered the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Solomon Arase, to bring the Senate President before it at the Tribunal’s sitting on Tuesday slated to commence by 10 am.
