Nigeria Customs Service has announced the re-introduction of ban on
importation of rice through land borders across the country. The
Comptroller-General of Customs, Hameed Ali, made the announcement at a

He said the presidency had given approval for the reversal of the ban put in place in October 2015 which allowed rice imports through land borders, once appropriate duty and charges were paid.
