Why did our grandparents/parents marriages last for decades but these days, some marriages don't last more than a few years?

So yesterday we shared a tweet of a lady saying all the weddings she attended last year and this year have all crashed. See the tweet above. While some people accused her of having ill-luck, there were comments from women who disclosed that they are already tired few months into their marriage. One of the commenters said she is already tired just one month into her marriage. Our grandparents and parents stayed married for better, for worse till death did them part but this new generation...mehn! What's going on? See the comments from our comment section below...
