Justice Daniel Longji of the Jos High Court has ordered the remand of former governor of Plateau State, Jonah David Jang in prison custody. Jang was arraigned in court today on a 12 count charge of alleged corruption and misappropriation of N6.3 billion while he was governor of Plateau state.
Jang who is currently a senator representing Plateau North, was arraigned alongside Yusuf Pam, a one-time cashier in the office of the Secretary to the State Government who allegedly embezzled N11million.
When the charges were read, Jang and Pam pleaded not guilty.
