Journalist and islamic scholar, rasheed Abubakar has challenged former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode to a debate to discuss the origin and history of Jerusalem.
This comes after Fani Kayode tweeted a congratulatory message to President Trump on moving the US embassy to Jerusalem, Israel.
FFK tweeted. 'Today a great and ancient prophecy shall be fulfilled. The USA, the worlds most powerful and wealthy nation, shall move its embassy to Jerusalem, the eternal and undisputed capital of Israel. It is a day of joy, victory and celebration. God bless @realDonaldTrump! God bless Israel!'.
Abubakar in his response said, 'I wonder how a lawyer like @realFFK could hail @POTUS 4 going against int'l law! Don't u know d legal status of #Jerusalem? It has been a disputed land long before u were born and all the 3 Abrahamic faiths hav maintained d status quo. Stop exhibiting your ignorance. It is not too late to enroll in the school of global affairs. Let me tutor you properly, and if you doubt me, then I challenge you to a debate'.
