'My outfit is not for every woman' - Chief Mrs Omada Higgins, CEO Diosa Virtuosa



Abuja came to a stand still on Thursday the 3rd of May, 2018 in honour of business and high society woman, creative director and managing director of Diosa Virtuosa Chief Mrs. Omada Higgins-Peters as she was honored with the business sector award for excellence as the 'Female Entrepreneur of the year 2017/2018' by Abuja Reporters at Hotel de Bentley, Abuja.


In an interview with Lagos based media company  Ignitz TV, Chief Mrs. Peters revealed that her vision for the brand is to make it an African brand on international platforms, competing with other brands in world fashion outlets and stores.

The CEO who says this is just a house cleaning and foundation laying phase has assured every woman that a time will come in the very near future, that owning a Diosa Virtuosa dress will be taken as a reward for hardwork.

When asked if she sees her brand becoming a heritage brand, she in her words said …”without doubt, my brand will outlive me because I don’t work for the present. I know there will be obstacles but I have a dream to establish a brand that will become the African lifestyle brand.

The other awardees on the night included Aminu Babangida, Chairman Unity Bank, Young Business Man of the Year, Ms. Abimbola Alele, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at the Nigerian Communication Satellite Limited (NigComSat), Excellence in Leadership 2017/2018, Dr. Obiora Okonkwo, Managing Director of the Dome Events Centre Abuja, Development of Entertainment in FCT, Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu, Comptroller General Nigeria Security Civil Defense Corp (NSCDC), Reformer of the Year, Ms. Donna Wallace, Managing Director Tender Years Preparatory School and the Oxford Manor College Abuja, Educationist of the Year and few heads of corporate and government parastatals.

Chief Mrs Peters has investments in communications, construction and energy as she also sits on boards of several companies.
