Following the Islamic burial rites of Nollywood actress, Aisha Abimbola, who recently died in Canada after secretly battling with breast cancer, a candlelight procession has been held in Lagos to honor the late actress popularly known as ‘Omoge Campus’.
To pay last respect to the movie star, a walk in honor of the deceased commenced from Lagos Television (LTV) in Agidingbi to Shoprite, after-which actors and fans of the actress gathered for the candlelight procession at Blue Roof, inside LTV8, in Lagos.
The candlelight procession was led by The President Golden Movie Ambassadors of Nigeria (TGMAN), Mr. Saidi Balogun.
Late actress Aisha up until her death starred in many Nollywood movies, including the popular movie Omoge Campus.
She also held the position of Vice President for The Golden Movie Ambassadors of Nigeria (TGMAN).
