Former US President Barack Obama has taken to Twitter to mourn CNN host Anthony Bourdain who committed suicide today at 61.
Bourdain was in France working on an upcoming episode of his award-winning CNN series "Parts Unknown" when his close friend Eric Ripert, the French chef, found Bourdain unresponsive in his hotel room on Friday morning.
Obama, who has met and dined, with the CNN host shared a photo of them together and wrote:
“Low plastic stool, cheap but delicious noodles, cold Hanoi beer.” This is how I’ll remember Tony. He taught us about food — but more importantly, about its ability to bring us together. To make us a little less afraid of the unknown. We’ll miss him.
