He said it was sad that the same people went ahead spreading propaganda that he has defected to APC which made thousands of his supporters not to cast their votes for ADP.

Adewale said Ekiti people have spoken and have chosen who they want, even though there were reports of voters inducement but notwithstanding "Ekiti must move forward." According to him, yesterday is gone, today is another day, Let's work towards a better tomorrow for our dear Ekiti.

He said contrary to the public outrage and condemnation of voters, that Ekiti people are the winner of the election because they still have the powers to elect another governor in four years to come after experiencing the incoming government.

Adewale congratulated the governor elect, Dr. John Kayode on his electoral victory, charging him to implement peoples' oriented projects that will have direct impact in the lives of the Ekiti Ketes.

The ADP chieftain has charged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to review it's voting method and adopt a full secret ballot system, where voters will drop ballot paper into the box inside the voting cubicle.

Adewale who commended INEC of a more improved conduct of election, however, observed that, few loop holes should be addressed to mitigate against voters inducement and must be worked on before 2019 elections.

He said it was possible for people to vote and those who wanted to buy votes to see where electorate casted their votes since ballot papers were not dropped in the same voting cubicle.

Adewale has assured his numerous supporters in ADP and Ekiti State that he will not back down in his quest to govern the state, saying 2022 will present another opportunity for him to make himself available to lead the state.

He concluded by saying that a review of this election will properly guide his next campaign, stating that his team would rethink, re-strategize, and replan for effecting outing in the nearest future electoral outing in Ekiti State.
