Reno Omokri, the former aide to Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday referred to Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State as an ‘opportunistic hypocrite’ for imposing 24-hour curfew on the State.
El-rufai had placed a 24-hour curfew on the state over the recent violent clashes in parts of the state which resulted in the killing of 55 people at Kasuwan Magani, Kajuru Local Government Area of the state.
The Kaduna State Governor, however, on Thursday, relaxed the curfew from 5pm in the evening to 6am in the morning, till further notice.
But, Omokri reacting to the development called out El-rufai for imposing curfew after he slammed the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in 2011 for imposing curfew in Kaduna
According to him, this shows El-rufai is a hypocrite.
The former presidential spokesman wrote: “If you don’t believe that El-rufai, the Governor of Kaduna, is an opportunistic hypocrite, then look at this accusation he made against PDP in 2011 and compare with what he is doing today. He complained about a 9PM-6AM curfew, then declared a 24 hour curfew.”
