D'banj has signed a deal with Sony Music Africa.
This is the second time that the kokomaster will be signing a deal with Sony Music Africa as he did so in 2012.
The deal was sealed in South Africa where D'banj has been staying for months as he working on new music. He has two new songs with Tiwa Savage and Cassper Nyovest which should have been released by now but were pushed back by D'banj because he was mourning the death of iconic South African rapper HHP.
It should be noted that Nigerian artists have not always had a great relationship with Sony Music Africa. Ycee once described them as thieves and Davido claimed that they tried to change his style of music.
We do not know the details of the deal D'banj signed with them at this time.
