Minor Hangs Self After Father Caught Her Having Sex

Tragedy struck Wednesday as sixteen years old Kemigisha Mugisha, committed suicide after her father caught her and her boyfriend during sex inside his bedroom.

It was gathered that Mr Mugisha had returned home on Tuesday afternoon to witness a supposedly disgusting scene, 

Prompting him to drag both his daughter-Kemigisha and her boyfriend, Kelvin Kaddu to Nsangi police station where a case of defilement was registered.

It was learnt that Police detained Kaddu who is 18 years while Kemigisha believed to be a minor was released.

Eyewitnesses reported that Mr Mugisha had decided to pass the night at his shop when on Wednesday morning found his daughter hanging dead in his bedroom. 

Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire, confirmed the event  saying preliminary medical examinations conducted at Nsangi police station had earlier proved that Kemigisha had been defiled.

“Her father said he spent the night at his shop perhaps, he was annoyed by the daughter’s alleged action. He visited his home in the morning and was shocked to find his daughter hanging dead on a rope in his bedroom,” Mr Owoyesigyire said.

The deceased had reportedly completed her Senior Four exams last Friday at Kawempe. Details of her alleged boyfriend were still scanty by press time.
