WAEC Releases Requirements to Obtain Letter of Attestation (See Procedures)

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC), Nigeria has recalled its tweet of the 10th August 2015, showing they have introduced 'attestation of results' which can be obtained in place for missing or lost certificates.

The procedures were tweeted on the official WAEC twitter handle in response to a question from twitter user, Kayode Owolabi.

Candidates who may apply for an attestation of their results should fortify themselves with the following requirements:

1. Letter of application;

2. Police report on lost or damaged certificate;

3. Photocopy of lost or damaged certificate;

4. Two recent passport-sized photos of the candidate;

5. Sworn Affidavit for collection of Attestation of Result;

6. Administrative fee of N20, 000.

The foregoing procedures will ease the collection of WAEC Letter of Attestation if yours' is missing or lost.
