Another senator withdraws vote of confidence on Saraki

Senator Sabo Mohammed Nakudu representing Jigawa South-West Senatorial District, has backed out of the vote of confidence given to the leadership of Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki.

His decision is coming barely 24 hours after the Chairman, Senate Committee on Business and Rules, Senator Babajide Omowarare (APC-Osun East), withdrew his.

Nakudu said he wasn’t consulted before his name was included in the list of the senators who signed the vote of confidence on Tuesday, hence the need to withdraw his name.

This development has reduced the names of the senators who endorsed the incumbent leadership of the upper chamber of the National Assembly to 82.
