Frontline journalist and Publisher of Ovation Magazine, Chief Dele Momodu
has stated that rumour of his nomination as minister by President Muhammadu
Buhari is sickening and suffocating.
The former presidential aspirant made the rebuttal on being nominated as a minister by Buhari on his Twitter page while reacting to one Kelvin Olorode@Olorodey, a commenter on the social network who opined that Momodu was interested in becoming a minister.
@Olorodey had tweet at Momodu thus:
Oga, we all know you are after a ministerial slot, it’s nothing to be ashamed of. https://t.co/f2ioKbqisS
In his reply, Momodu said, Kindly spare me, I’m begging you in the name of God.
Another social commentator, Adegbeule Oluwole also took on the famous celebrity magazine publisher on the same issue, begging him to help broaden awareness on sustainable development if nominated.
@Delemomodu If ur name is eventually found in the list, help orientate us more on SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT..I really luv You Sir.
He replied, “nothing but the rumour is suffocating and people get angry when you tell them the absolute truth.”
