Ahead of the swearing in of the ministerial nominees following their confirmation by the senate last week, the
Presidency has denied releasing any assigned portfolios to the already-screened minister.
Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina said if the list wasn’t officially signed by the presidential spokespersons, then Nigerians should ignore it.

“Any communication from the presidency must be officially singed. Was that list signed by me or Mr. Garba Shehu? Please, ignore it”, he said.Speaking in the same vein was his colleague, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.
“As I am talking to you now, the President is yet to receive any message from the Senate that the ministerial nominees have been cleared. Maybe the Senate will do this when it resumes this week but it has not done so yet.”Meanwhile, the speculated portfolios go as follows:
“It is only when that is done that the President can go ahead to swear in the nominees to become members of the Federal Executive Council.”
