The immediate past First Lady of Lagos State,
Dame Abimbola Fashola, is undoubtedly not the showy type. A conservative in all
ramifications, she is not ostentatious and her moderate sense of style did not
go unnoticed.
A former employee of the British Council, she has
given the social scene a wide berth ever since her husband handed over to the
incumbent. While there are insinuations that she is currently resident outside
Nigeria, others are of the opinion that it is only a matter of time before she
resumes socialising again.
